Polyaluminium chloride is a water purification material, an inorganic polymer coagulant, also known as polyaluminium, abbreviated as PAC in English. It is an inorganic polymer water treatment agent with a large molecular weight and a high charge produced by the bridging effect of hydroxide ions and the polymerization of multivalent anions.

In terms of form, it can be divided into two types: solid and liquid. Solids are divided into brown, beige, golden and white according to different colors, and liquids can be colorless, transparent, slightly yellow, light yellow to yellowish brown. Polyaluminium chloride of different colors also has great differences in application and production technology.

Product use:

1. It is a flocculant, mainly used for special water treatment for purifying drinking water and water supply, such as iron removal, fluorine removal, cadmium removal, radioactive pollution removal, floating oil removal, etc. It is also used for industrial wastewater treatment, such as printing and dyeing wastewater. In addition, it is also used in precision casting, medicine, papermaking rubber, leather making, petroleum, chemical industry, and dyes.

2. Polyaluminium chloride is used as a water treatment agent in surface treatment.

3. The main raw material of antiperspirant cosmetics.

4. Some flocculants can be used as food additives.
